Mind Forward is a Cantonese-language brain health and chronic disease prevention program for Cantonese-speaking adults, especially adults age 40 and older.
健腦同行是一個以粵語進行的腦部健康及慢性疾病預防計劃,專為講粵語的成年人而設,特別歡迎40歲或以上人士參加。
Participants will learn practical ways to support brain health, maintain memory, develop healthy habits, and reduce the risk of chronic disease.
參加者將學習實用方法,以促進腦部健康、維持記憶力、建立健康生活習慣及減低慢性疾病風險。
The program covers brain health, memory, healthy eating, physical activity, sleep, stress management, emotional well-being, social connection, personal safety, chronic disease prevention, and personal health goal-setting.
課程內容包括腦部健康、記憶力、健康飲食、體能活動、睡眠、壓力管理、情緒健康、人際聯繫、個人安全、慢性疾病預防及個人健康目標設定。
The program will be conducted in Cantonese.
課程將以粵語進行。
The program will take place on six consecutive Saturdays from September 19 to October 24, 2026.
課程將於2026年9月19日至10月24日期間,連續六個星期六舉行。
Each session will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and will last two hours.
每節課堂將於上午10時至中午12時舉行,每節為兩小時。
The program includes a total of six sessions.

This program is designed for Cantonese-speaking adults who are interested in learning more about brain health and chronic disease prevention.
本課程專為希望進一步了解腦部健康及慢性疾病預防的講粵語成年人而設。
Adults age 40 and older are especially encouraged to participate.
課程特別歡迎40歲或以上人士參加。
No previous health knowledge is required to participate.

Participants will learn how everyday habits may affect brain health and overall well-being.
參加者將了解日常生活習慣如何影響腦部健康及整體身心健康。
Participants will explore practical strategies for supporting memory, maintaining physical health, improving sleep, managing stress, and staying socially connected.
參加者將學習實用方法,以支持記憶力、維持身體健康、改善睡眠、管理壓力及保持社交聯繫。
Participants will also learn about factors that may increase or reduce the risk of dementia and chronic disease.
參加者亦將認識可能增加或減低認知障礙症及慢性疾病風險的因素。
Throughout the program, participants will be encouraged to identify realistic health goals and develop personal action plans.
課程期間,參加者將獲鼓勵訂立實際可行的健康目標,並制定個人行動計劃。
The program includes Cantonese-language health education, group discussions, workbook activities, practical exercises, and SMART goal-setting.
課程包括粵語健康教育、小組討論、工作手冊活動、實用練習及SMART目標設定。
Participants will have opportunities to share experiences, ask questions, and learn with other Cantonese-speaking adults in a supportive group environment.
參加者將有機會分享經驗、提出問題,並在互相支持的小組環境中與其他講粵語的成年人一同學習。
The program also includes brief pre-program and post-program assessments to help evaluate participants’ learning and the effectiveness of the program.
課程亦包括簡短的課程前後評估,以了解參加者的學習情況及評估課程成效。

Know Your Brain: Understanding Brain Health and Reducing Dementia Risk. 認識您的大腦:了解腦部健康與減低認知障礙症風險。
Participants will learn basic information about how the brain works, factors that affect brain health, and practical steps that may help reduce dementia risk. 參加者將認識大腦的基本運作、影響腦部健康的因素,以及可能有助減低認知障礙症風險的實用方法。

Healthy Habits, Healthy Brain: Supporting Your Brain and Body Every Day. 健康習慣,健腦強身:從日常生活支持腦部與身體健康。
Participants will explore how healthy eating, physical activity, preventive healthcare, and other daily habits can support both brain and physical health. 參加者將了解健康飲食、體能活動、預防性醫療及其他日常習慣如何促進腦部及身體健康。

Keep Learning, Stay Sharp, and Sleep Well. 持續學習、保持思維敏銳與良好睡眠。
Participants will learn how mentally stimulating activities, lifelong learning, and healthy sleep habits may support memory and thinking skills. 參加者將了解促進思考的活動、持續學習及良好睡眠習慣如何支持記憶力及思考能力。
Lesson 4 第四課 | Saturday, October 10, 2026. 2026年10月10日,星期六。
Care for Your Mood and Strengthen Your Connections. 促進情緒健康,維繫人際聯繫。
Participants will learn about emotional well-being, stress management, social connection, and the relationship between mood and brain health. 參加者將認識情緒健康、壓力管理、人際聯繫,以及情緒與腦部健康之間的關係。
Lesson 5 第五課 | Saturday, October 17, 2026. 2026年10月17日,星期六。
Protect Your Senses, Your Head, and Your Surroundings. 保護感官、頭部與生活環境。
Participants will learn about hearing and vision health, head protection, fall prevention, and ways to create a safer living environment. 參加者將了解聽力及視力健康、頭部保護、預防跌倒,以及建立更安全生活環境的方法。
Lesson 6 第六課 | Saturday, October 24, 2026. 2026年10月24日,星期六。
A Healthier Body, a Healthier Brain. 維護身體健康,促進腦部健康。
Participants will learn how preventing and managing chronic health conditions can support long-term brain health and overall well-being. 參加者將了解預防及管理慢性健康問題如何有助維持長遠的腦部健康及整體身心健康。
Participants will also review key lessons from the program and develop personal goals for continuing healthy habits. 參加者亦將重溫課程重點,並訂立個人目標,以持續實踐健康生活習慣。
The program is free of charge.
